How rights holders report a possible copyright infringement to Irish IPTV and how we handle the notice.

Last updated

Irish IPTV respects the rights of creators, broadcasters and rights holders. This page explains how to tell us about material on this website, or reachable through our service, that you believe infringes your copyright, and what we do with your notice.

1. What this covers

This policy follows the notice-and-takedown principles of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the EU Digital Services Act, and applies whichever country you are in. It covers text, images and video on this website, and access provided through our service.

2. How to send a notice

Send your notice by WhatsApp to +44 7576 966392. To let us act quickly, please include:

  • your name, organisation and contact details, and whether you are the rights holder or act on their behalf;
  • a description of the copyrighted work;
  • exactly where the material appears: the page address, or the channel name, date and time;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law;
  • a statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and your full name as a signature.

3. What happens next

  1. We confirm that we have received your notice, normally within two working days.
  2. We review it and, where it is valid, remove or disable access to the material without undue delay.
  3. If we need more information, we will ask before acting.
  4. We let you know what we did.

4. Counter-notice

If material you supplied was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice by WhatsApp. It should identify the material, explain why you believe the removal was wrong and include your contact details. We review counter-notices fairly and may pass them to the person who sent the original notice.

5. Repeat infringement

Logins that are repeatedly used to infringe copyright, for example by rebroadcasting or reselling access, are suspended, as set out in our terms.

6. Misuse of notices

Please only send a notice if you are confident the material infringes your rights. False or misleading notices waste time and may lead to liability for the sender.
